Web3 Head of Legal

Your First 90 Days: Impact roadmap

• 0–30 Days
Assess current legal frameworks, operational models, and contracts. Build alignment with executive and operations teams on legal priorities and key risk areas.
• 31–60 Days
Begin drafting and reviewing contracts, compliance policies, and licensing strategies. Ensure legal alignment with the UAE business regulations and explore new jurisdictions.
• 61–90 Days
Develop a legal roadmap for expansion, governance, and risk management. Formalize internal processes and begin supporting strategic initiatives, including fundraising or tokenization.

How You’ll Contribute

• Ensure full compliance with the UAE and Dubai free zone regulations.
• Guide legal strategy for international expansion, including potential UK, EU, and UAE licensing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (partnerships, memberships, events).
• Develop governance structures and compliance frameworks.
• Advise on community, membership, and workspace-related agreements.
• Monitor and interpret global regulatory trends relevant to Daos Hub’s ecosystem.
• Protect IP assets including trademarks, digital content, and brand rights.
• Build legal processes around digital rights in physical and virtual contexts.
• Conduct legal risk assessments across business operations.
• Support executive decision-making around business growth and fundraising.

What You Bring

• Master’s or PhD in Law from a top-tier university.
• 7+ years of legal experience with 3–5 years in a senior or head of legal role (in-house only).
• Deep understanding of IT, contract, corporate, and tax law.
• Expertise in technology law and digital assets.
• Web3/blockchain familiarity is a plus.
• Experience with international legal frameworks (UK, UAE, EU preferred).
• Strong command of UAE regulations and licensing, especially in Dubai free zones.
• Ability to navigate complex legal environments and scale frameworks with the business.
• English fluency.
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
