Compensation: $30k - $40k
Location: FL Port St Lucie US
Job Title:JUNIOR FINANCIAL OPERATIONS ANALYST(S)
About Us:Founded in 2021, Intero Capital Solutions LLC was formed with a mission to create a compelling portfolio of funding programs that fully recognize the inherent commercial value locked in quality receivables and other real-world assets.
Role Context:We are seeking highly motivated, detail-orientated, Junior Financial Operations Analyst(s) to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will be able to approach their tasks with an objective and subjective orientated mindset to develop an holistic view of the operating and risk environment in which transactions are executed. An ability to operate within a dynamic setting as part of a small but rapidly growing team is essential.
Objectively, this will require using financial and data analysis tools, at an intermediate level, to analyse financial information and supporting data, to help Intero make funding-related decisions. Your role will demand a forensic view into the programmes’ supporting data while simultaneously requiring you to provide feedback and financial /data assessment to the Applicant, Origination Partners, Funding Partners, and Intero’s Executive team.
Subjectively, this will require conclusions to be drawn based on your understanding of Intero’s funding framework, the profile of applicants and their creditworthiness and availability of deployable capital. Unique insights that are not explicitly visible within the objective components of a project or transaction are invaluable in our decision-making and carry as much weight as the conclusions drawn from objective data.
You will interact with multiple parties, and your engagement with them must be professional and reflect Intero’s culture.
The role presents an opportunity to develop your professional skills in a team environment that will allow you to grow within Intero, reflecting your capabilities, performance, and ambitions.
Responsibilities:
·Perform programme-related tasks, including reviewing commercial/financial datasets, analysing financial accounts/statements, drawing conclusions from the data, identifying trends and interacting with 3rd parties.
·Package data analysis and reporting to managers to support decision-making.
·Ownership of processes from concept to planning, implementation/execution and scaling.
·Participation in improving Intero’s processes and procedures to maximise cross-company efficiency and effectiveness.
·Work on the front-end of the transaction process, including evaluating financials, credit reports and applicant behaviour.
·Make informed decisions based on financial information from a credit underwriting and risk perspective.
·Preparation of Applicants for pre-Credit / Credit Committee consideration.
·Operations / Credit issues resolution.
·Process transaction execution data to inform Intero’s reporting and decision-making requirements.
·Key external relationship management function between Intero and third-party Applicants as well as Tax Credit Originators and Service providers.
·Comfortable working with significant levels of autonomy and decision-making authority as well as within a team-based environment.
·Be prepared to deputise for the Operations/Project Manager(s).
Essential Requirements:
·Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (or equivalent).
·Understanding of how to interpret and analyse financial accounts/statements (IS/P&L, BS, CF).
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
·Ability to work in a rapidly scaling start-up environment.
·Intermediate experience with Excel (or similar).
Additional Capabilities:
·Experience with tax, tax credits, and the corporate tax environment.
·Understanding of receivables financing/factoring/invoice-discounting.
·Familiarity with Monday.com, Canopy, PitBullTax, or similar tax-related technologies.
·Familiarity with Google Workspace products.
·Understanding of web-based technologies, including Crypto Currencies/DeFi and AI platforms.
Employment: W2 (Full Time), or Contractor.
Remuneration: Competitive $30,000-$40,000 base per annum, plus bonus.
Start Date: As soon as possible. Specific date to be agreed.
Location: Initially work from home in Florida, with hybrid/office-based work once Intero office is set up in Florida (later in 2023).
Hours: Weekdays, hours per country standard, with flexibility.
Annual Leave (Paid):20 days, not including public holidays.
