In the United States, we have a flexible hybrid work policy for employees who live within 30 miles of our office headquartered in New York City and our office in Seattle. Employees within the New York and Seattle metropolitan areas are expected to work from the designated office twice a week, unless there is a job-specific requirement to be in the office every workday. Employees outside of these areas are considered part of our remote-first workforce. We believe our hybrid approach for those near our NYC and Seattle offices increases productivity through more in-person collaboration where possible.

The Role: Lead Brand Designer
As Lead Brand Designer, youâll craft moments of delight for the Gemini brand.. Youâll join adynamic team of innovative visual designers, working to bring brand experience to the nextlevel. The Lead Brand Designer will liaise directly with our Marketing & Communications teamsto create the most compelling and creative ad, social, and video content. Most importantly, youâllbe responsible for defining how the world views Gemini, evangelizing and educating usersabout the innovative industry.
This designer will be focused on marketing and brand design while collaborating across theproduct design team. This individual will support business goals related to brand building, andbrand recognition.
Responsibilities:
- Evolve, explore and apply our visual identity; become fully immersed in the Geminibrand and mission
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning to end
- Execute and produce a mix of graphic content that represents Gemini and supports multiple business lines
- Identifying and facilitating cross-functional collaboration with marketing, engineers, and product managers in order to create compelling content for the user
- Presents complex topics to stakeholders and leadership
- Work closely with other designers and marketing partners to formulate, communicate and transform a complex system into a simplistic message
- Introduce new directions and design patterns to meet the requirements while pushing the quality of design forward
- Oversees the execution of assets, typography, logos, icons and interfaces for multiple platforms
- Lead efforts to develop ad campaigns and design >
- Develop new patterns as well as iterate on existing designs for the marketing website
- Mentor other designers
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role and or formal design training
- Experience with brand design touchpoints: Digital and physical advertising, event design, social design, email and more
- Experience designing for the web and mobile, and or familiar with web and mobile design standards and systems
- Proficient in Figma, Adobe CC, Google Suite
- Can take an undefined design problem, and solve from strategy to execution
- Design fundamentalist knowing the rules, but knows how to bend and break them to create innovative solutions
- Clear understanding of visual hierarchy, balance, rhythm, typography and color
- Creative mindset and ability to adapt to change
- Able to accomplish their given work quickly and thoughtfully
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and tasks at once
- Has a collaborative work ethic and easy going nature

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $158,000 - $198,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidateâs compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
