We are a small team of builders. Our team has previously worked at Uber, Stripe, Lockheed Martin, Aztec and YC-funded startups.

The Role

We're seeking a Head of Design to join our team and lead the evolution of our brand and product experience. You'll work on reimagining how developers and users interact with cryptographic proofs, focusing on making complex technical processes intuitive and trustworthy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of user experiences that use applied cryptography.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design of our product surfaces, creating seamless experiences across web and mobile platforms

• Develop and implement a cohesive design system to bridge the technical complexity of applied cryptography system with the expected quality of user-friendly interfaces

• Improve documentation flows and technical illustrations for our developer community

• Drive the evolution of our brand identity and product design language

• Design innovative solutions for displaying cryptographic processes and verification states to end-users

• Create intuitive onboarding experiences

• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and iterate on design solutions

What We Look For

• 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating complex user flows and system thinking

• Strong experience in designing cross-platform experiences (web, mobile, and desktop)

• Proven track record of shipping products that simplify technical concepts for end-users

• Experience with design systems and component libraries

• Ability to prototype interactions and animations to communicate design intent

• Strong understanding of user research and data-informed design decisions

• Experience collaborating with engineers and ability to understand technical constraints

Nice to Have

• Experience designing developer tools or technical products

• Familiarity with cryptography

• Experience designing documentation or technical content
