About the Team:

The Finance team is primarily focused on providing operational support, financial preparation and reporting, cost management, and financial infrastructure support to help the overall growth of the business.

About the Opportunity:

A strong Payment Operations Analyst should complement the Head of Finance and Payment Operations Manager. You should be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously and initiate changes and improvements to our settlement processing functions with the end goal of providing excellent support to our customers and global teams. You must also have strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.

What You’ll Be Doing:

The Payment Operations Analyst’ primary roles will be to:

• Take ownership of the daily settlements for all trading accounts
• Support Payment Operations Manager and rest of finance team in assisting the global teams to research and resolve customer inquiries related to payment processing
• Analyze and highlight exception items related to settlements and collaborate with cross functional teams and banking partners to resolve it quickly
• Support future development efforts by testing new product offerings and help customer onboarding
• Provide performance reports with metrics for assessing performance and improvements
• Support the accounting team with reconciliations and other payment-related activities
• Review settlement operations and suggest areas of improvements and automations
• Support Payment Operations Manager on ad-hoc requests from cross functional teams

This new team member will help us to serve customers, manage payment channels, and provide financial data in a timely manner. As a result of hiring this person, we will provide better customer experience and better support to OKCoin businesses across the globe.

What We Look For In You:

• 2+ years experience working for a fintech or payments company
• Familiarity with daily settlements processing, chargebacks
• Comfortable corresponding with banking partners
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Good understanding of wire transfers, credit card processing and ACH

Nice to Haves:

• Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange!
• Curious about blockchain technology and the crypto payments space
• Experience working across time zones and cross cultural teams
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
