Compensation: $45k - $100k estimated

We are looking for Senior Project Managers to oversee the end-to-end delivery of global projects. A highly organised and energised professional who can keep other members of the project team on-track to deliver timely and efficiently according to deadlines

Who are we looking for? Our ideal person for this role will be someone who is an excellent communicator and has experience delivering complex cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior PM needs to be resilient and able to lead projects, problem solve barriers that may occur and successfully close projects within deadlines agreed with stakeholders across the business.

Able to manage a team with solid management skill. Identify individual strength and leverage.

We are looking for someone with 4+ years in project management.

The Role Responsibilities Project Planning and Management:

  • Provide project planning, management, implementation and ensuring that projects are completed on-time, within scope and budget and with an extremely high quality of deliverables.
  • Review and validate the feasibility of project proposals.
  • Identify, describe, and improve business processes, support product-oriented projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Managing stakeholder communications - serve as the point of contact for all internal touch points, manage project communications.
  • Understand, record, advise, communicate, and deliver stakeholder requirements.
  • Use appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to control project performance, manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Track project progress as well as define and implement project success measures.
  • Prepare and distribute progress reports, ensuring internal and external stakeholders receive adequate communication.
  • Identify risks in technology design choices and assess the impact of any emerging technologies as well as in operation process management.
  • Collaborate with Product owners, Team Leaders in the development team in order to show your vision of implementing the project.
  • Assist in team development, ensuring proper focus and prioritisation of projects.
  • Encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality within the team.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks and bottlenecks internally and externally.
  • Be an active supporter of a culture of forward and innovative thinking, encouraging the team to always be curious and one step ahead.

Hard Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is desirable
  • 4+ years of experience in Project manager role for a development team (preferably in Agile environment);
  • Back-office, operations system understanding required, trading operations understanding as a plus;
  • Solid background in overseeing large multi-function project teams including Developers, Business Analysts, Data/Analytics, QA’s, etc.;
  • Experience in business process description, optimisation, and reengineering
  • Understanding of software development life cycle models as well a traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment;
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence
  • Understanding of the Agile methodology (Scrum framework) and project management methodologies such as PMI and/or PRINCE2;

  • Excellent communicator and presenter
  • Ability to work across all levels - Board, C-suite, etc, through to individual contributors (engineers, analysts, etc)
  • Self-driven and result oriented
  • Attention to detail and customer centric mindset
  • Strong analytical skills is a must
  • Flexible and resilient
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams at various levels at once
  • Strives under pressure
