CRYT is a new crypto trading platform, founded by market leaders of the traditional finance industry to address the existing frustrations in the crypto industry regarding simplicity and transparency. We believe crypto is the natural evolution in the future of transfer of value for the world's economy. However, the adoption will not happen if crypto trading remains a complex and opaque domain, available and understood only by fintech-savvy individuals.

Our mission is to bring simplicity and transparency to the crypto ecosystem, contributing its adoption by facilitating the onboarding and education of the average Joe.

We are looking for like-minded staff to join our team, onsite in our Head office in London, UK.

The position we are opening is Head of Trading who will join us to help develop the trading function, management framework and processes. CRYT team is small, so we collaborate tightly and horizontally in a native agile manner.

What we want you to do:

• Define and develop trading risk management framework, processes, and plans
• Execute, manage, and monitor of BAU trading activities
• Own the orderbook – ensure adequate depth and spread for all trading pairs in accordance with set KPIs
• Manage liquidity partners, market makers and associated processes.
• Monitor and manage total exposures and limits
• Efficiently monitor, identify, control, and resolve trading risk related issues
• Track and review trading events and market news, evaluate associated risks and react as necessary
• Take responsibility for market risk – analyse behavioural patterns and identify abuse
• Increase efficiency through design and implementation of automation and smart algos
• Keep up to date with the competition and the industry
• Be prepared to wear multiple hats

What you need to have:

• Proven traditional or quantitative trading experience from a similar role in digital assets or traditional finance
• Strong sense of risk and controls from trading, credit, exposure, settlement, and treasury operations perspectives.
• Clear understanding of operational risks, compliance, and appropriate regulations
• Broad and thorough working knowledge of trading products – Spot, Futures (Perp, Dated), Spreads, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of classic execution algos
• Macro-to-micro resolution: strategic mindset but also detail oriented

A significant priority if you have:

• Academic background in mathematics, physics, or statistics
• Experience in Python, C#, SQL
• Knowledge of Options trading
• Experience from Crypto exchange / Crypto hedge-fund
