About the Opportunity:
The Risk Tools and Technology Program Manager in the Risk Team is expected to have a track-record in managing complex, multi-faceted initiatives with multiple stakeholders (Businesses and other functions like Finance, Technology etc.) as well as strong partnership, collaboration and creative problem solving skills to achieve value-adding outcomes. Strong understanding of effective risk management practices as well as thought leadership on meeting regulatory requirements will also be expected of this candidate
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Articulate & evangelize risk investigation tools and system vision and objectives, in alignment with business strategies
- Define performance metrics to measure the success of the tools and systems
- Work closely with end-users to understand their pain points and needs and then leverage those insights to inform our product roadmap
- Define solutions and work with internal and external partners to implement them
- Develop product requirements – typically as user stories and epics
- Collaborate effectively with engineering on all phases of the product development lifecycle including maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog and participating in scrum meetings, planning, reviews and retrospectives
- Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and gaps
- Build productive relationships and collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders across product, risk & compliance, marketing, revenue etc
What We Look For In You:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering related
- End to end product management experience building and launching complex products and features. You can point to shining examples of successful products and features you have driven and can share lessons learned from the less successful ones.
- Domain knowledge of the payments and risk industry and operation tools in general is required. Compliance and KYC knowledge are a plus
- A thinker and a doer - effective at simultaneously driving both product strategy and execution
- Strong technical acumen and experience acting as a trusted partner to top engineering teams working on complex product initiatives in an agile environment
- An innovator with the ability to define business tradeoffs and value; generate out-of-the-box solutions, and cut through ambiguity to drive results
- An effective collaborator with engaging communication skills and the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong customer and/or end-user empathy - motivated to deliver great customer/user experiences
- Self-driven and organized with the ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives
- 5+ years product or system experience in fraud investigation related risk technology
