Senior Crypto Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Crypto Operations Analyst to join our team and support our organization's day-to-day transactional investment and operational functions. As a key member of the team, you will help with the monitoring and movement of funds, trades, and cryptocurrencies, as well as performing research, writing reporting, and analyzing data to help ensure Hivemind makes well-informed decisions and operates smoothly. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, curious, takes initiative, is energized by new challenges and is interested in blockchain technology and digital assets.
Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with crypto address generation, key backup, and maintenance
• Lead transaction execution and movement of funds across platforms and into DeFi applications
• Log trading activity and crypto transactions, reconciling between front and back office
• Help maintain operational platforms such as custody providers, exchange accounts, and internal tools
• Assist with investor relations activity (response to inquiries, preparation of communications, etc.)
• Perform financial modelling on projected performance across various funds
• Review internal financial statements and fund statements to ensure complete accuracy prior to broader distribution
• Provide data insights necessary for company decision making
• Drive process improvement initiatives to improve our day-to-day operations
• Produce monthly reports and analysis on our trading and investing activity
• Provide administrative support to investment and operations teams

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Operations role at a crypto firm, VC, or similar
• Experience with processing crypto transactions using wallets and a DEX, as well as on-exchange
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced Excel skills with experience utilizing dynamic parameters, flexible modeling, sensitivity analysis, and data aggregation & analysis
• Demonstrated interest, activity, and engagement with the crypto ecosystem
• Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of industry trends and best practices
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to execute under pressure and within tight timelines while juggling multiple projects
• Strong people skills, with a focus on collaboration and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and DocuSign
• Local to the NY area

Compensation: The expected base salary for this New York based position ranges from $60k - $90k. The actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, relevant certifications, skills, and geographic location. In addition to base salary and the competitive benefits package listed above, this position is eligible for additional types of compensation.
