Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Web3 Developer with experience writing and shipping production-quality decentralized applications (dapps). You have a refined eye for rigorous, clean code, but are able to balance tradeoffs inherent in all design decisions. You take pride in being an engineer and not just a hacker. You take the time to design things properly, being mindful of those after you, and understand that much of what happens in code happens after it's been written. This matters to you. You have a deep understanding of designing robust, well-designed code. You can drive and self-direct major areas of the code. While not a strict requirement, you are comfortable working with and guiding more intermediate and junior engineers when needed. Given our size, self-driven engineers will thrive best in this role. While small, you'll be working alongside some of the best engineers, and open-source contributors--and a company dedicated to your success. You will learn a lot.

Responsibilities
· Help lead and drive the design and implementation of Web3 technologies used in Skyweaver and the Sequence Wallet
· Write and modify Horizon’s smart contracts, as well as design new ones, as needed
· Ensure the security and integrity of our users’ data
· Work closely with our backend and design teams, participating closely in the design process and aligning on requirements to ship product
· Write robust services and systems that communicate with EVM-compliant chains or other blockchains
· Write and maintain open source libraries to facilitate the interaction with our blockchain systems
· Research protocol changes (EIPs), scaling solutions and new smart contract primitives we could leverage within our products

Requirements

· Experience shipping production-level dapps
· High competence with the Typescript and Solidity languages
· Excellent knowledge of writing smart contracts, particularly in the Ethereum ecosystem and related EVM-compliant chains
· An understanding of security models and practices when it comes to web-based crypto wallets
· A deep understanding of blockchain technology, their limitations and strengths
· Experience programming crypto wallets
