Web3 Technical Product Manager

Your Mission We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Product Leader to oversee our Developers Workstream. This role focuses on translating technical strategies into actionable grants and serving as a product manager, bridging the Uniswap Foundation with diverse ecosystem builders and stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of key protocol milestones. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem, coupled with strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional technical teams and contribute to the strategic direction of the Uniswap Foundation.   What you’ll do

Technical Product Management: Guide ecosystem engineering teams in the development of core protocol stack innovations and ecosystem expansions. You’ll work on key protocol launch milestones, with an immediate focus on the secure launch of v4 hooks. Grant management: Translate the developer product strategy and infrastructure needs into well-crafted grants to support research, development, and innovation within the Uniswap ecosystem. Manage the grants RFP process to recruit the next generation of world class builders for the Uniswap ecosystem. Developer ecosystem growth: You’ll lead, identify and engage in both grassroots developer growth (bottoms-up) and ecosystem business development (top-down) activities, across L1/L2 blockchains, v4 hook developers & broader DeFi partners. Strategy and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest in MEV, new protocol launches, and DeFi innovations to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into Uniswap's offerings. Drive value accretion and initiate projects that benefit stakeholders.

  What you bring to the table Core Competencies:

Crypto Expertise: Deep familiarity with blockchain technologies, with a preference for prior work in DeFi Product Management Skills: Proven experience managing engineering or product teams, with a preference for those who have managed cross-functional teams Strategic Thinking: Ability to prioritize features, translate strategies into actionable plans, and communicate these strategies effectively. Collaboration: Work closely with various roles including Core Protocol Developers, Ecosystem Leads, Developer Relations Lead, Solution Architects, and Product Leads for various ecosystem teams.

Qualifications:

Proven track record in technical leadership within the DeFi or blockchain space. Strong technical understanding of L1 and L2 blockchains. Strong experience in product management and ecosystem development. Exceptional ability to write clear and effective grants. Demonstrated ability in managing large, cross-functional engineering teams. Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and driving developer engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
