The Role
The Trade Settlements Analyst role provides a unique insight into the processes utilised to ensure a quick and seamless settlement of funds - a feature that continues to drive the trading and settlement functions forward and remain as one of the European leaders in the space. The role also provides a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly and diverse team within a fast-paced start-up at the forefront of FinTech.
Key responsibilities
Trade Confirmation and Matching:
- Confirm and match FX and crypto trade details with counterparties and internal systems.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in trade confirmations.
Settlement Processing:
- Execute settlement procedures for FX and crypto trades in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor and manage settlement queues, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Making calls to banking partners to chase things up with them.
Reconciliation:
- Conduct daily reconciliation of trade and settlement records to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve reconciliation issues.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of all trade and settlement activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding documentation and reporting.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external service providers.
- Provide regular updates on settlement statuses and address inquiries in a timely manner.
Risk Management:
- Identify and escalate any potential risks or issues related to trade settlements.
- End of day checks
Customer Services
- Monitor client channels and respond to queries around trading and settlements in a timely manner.

If you can demonstrate some of the following experience/skills below, we would love to have a conversation
- Ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously and effectively
- A strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- An understanding of various payments rails such as FPS, CHAPS, SEPA & SWIFT is an advantage but not essential
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Clear communication skills and the ability to effectively build professional relationships
