Who we are
Game7 is a community formed to accelerate the adoption of Web3 gaming through crowdsourcing, to create public goods that can be owned by many. It’s a home for those who want to influence, shape, and build a better gaming industry, where the interests of players and developers are aligned. We are building a gaming nation, one that represents over 3 billion players and $200 billion in annual economic activity.
Our nation is governed by meritocracy, a system where a citizen’s contributions, not capital, grant them status, rewards and influence. It’s this philosophy that will create a more equitable and sustainable gaming future.
As part of this, we are building targeted games, products and offerings that specifically address the challenges that the industry desperately needs solutions for.
What you'll help us build
User Interface Design: Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and functional. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
UI Implementation: Translate design concepts into code, implementing user interfaces using appropriate programming languages and frameworks. Ensure that UI elements are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across different platforms and devices.
Gameplay Systems: Design and implement gameplay systems that contribute to a seamless and immersive player experience. This may include player progression mechanics, in-game economies, social features, and more.
User Research: Conduct user research and playtesting to gather feedback and insights that inform UX design decisions. Iterate on designs based on user feedback to continually improve the player experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with artists, designers, programmers, and other stakeholders to integrate UX elements seamlessly into the game. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize user interfaces and gameplay systems for performance, usability, and player engagement. Implement solutions to improve load times, reduce latency, and enhance overall gameplay experience.
If you think you have valuable experience to bring to the organization, but don’t necessarily meet all of the criteria for the role, we still want to hear from you. We consider all applications.
