Our Story

Rebellion was born with the idea of radically simplifying the banking experience. Our mission is that you finally enjoy managing your money.

At the very beginning, Rebellion product was just a virtual card and a bunch of people. Now, 4 years later, we are almost 300,000 clients and one of the best-rated neobanks in the Spanish market. We are a team of 30 awesome people based in several countries; that succeeded in making Rebellion the first neobank to offer an ES IBAN and a physical card with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Giving an awesome current account is not enough, that's why we also built a simple and fast way to buy and sell cryptocurrencies directly with your Rebellion card. Given its success, we are currently exploring possibilities on Crypto and DeFi; studying how to bring the best of financial services based on Blockchain. We are in the right place at the right time.

What are we looking for?

As our UX UI Designer, you play a key role in the design of our product. Throughout the process, from the prototype to user interface creation, you are responsible for turning complex requirements into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use design solutions that drive value to our clients. With the help of all the teams, mainly Customer and Dev. You improve existing experiences and create new ones. You act as a voice for our customers and our user Persona and take ownership of the full UX lifecycle on an agile setup.

You will work with an experienced agile experienced team of 12 people:

• 5 Backends
• 4 Frontend
• 2 UX
• 1 Product Manager

UX UI Designer requirements:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the conception and design of user interfaces.
• Knowledge of interaction and visual design.
• Experience in the definition and maintenance of design systems
• Experience to work in agile environments.
• Experience and fluency with Figma and structuring design files correctly.
• Experience with user-centered design, design sprints, and other Lean UX methods.
• Able to define information architecture and user flows.
• Experience making data-driven design decisions.
• You have a high level of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in UX writing in Spanish.
• Experience in User testing, A/B testing, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility issues.

Nice to have:

• Experience using localisation tools such as Lokalise.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.

Our recruitment process in a nutshell

After receiving your application, you will have the first Google Meet with our Head of Product if your profile goes through our first screening. It will be an easy-going conversation where our Head of Product will tell you a little more about Rebellion Pay as a company and our culture and growth, and you will be given more details about the team which you can be part of.
