The Role Async Art is looking for a full-time, security-focused Community Manager to help engage and expand our growing community of artists and collectors. 

Responsibilities

Overall Discord Management  *Maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere in the Discord server *Manage and scale a global team of moderators  *Maintain schedule of 24-hour mod coverage *Train new mods and community helpers as needed *Emphasize and enforce security best practices  *Be available to fill in any hours so the server always has a mod available and scanning the channels

Customer Service  *Be a presence in the server *Be able to jump into channel conversations *Answer non-technical user questions and troubleshoot *Refer members to the appropriate support channels for technical help *Knowledge of the team members and their roles, so you can direct questions to the appropriate channels *Be familiar with the Async Art platform and artist tools (training provided)

Live Events *Schedule, manage, and host our live events, including: +Weekly Town Hall +Twitter Spaces OFFICE HOURS +Artist AMAs *Help promote events to and within our community *Coordinate promotional assets with Async design team *Work with Async team to develop interesting programming for the community, based around upcoming drops and artist/collector features *Schedule tech checks with artists prior to event *Record live events and post in replay channel

Culture *Emphasize security and safety best practices *Maintain and promote a vibrant Discord community culture *Enforce rules, kick/ban disruptive members when necessary *Alert Async team to any issues that surface in the community *Keep informational resources up to date (official links, drop info, Event posts, etc.) *Add and archive channels as needed *Contribute ideas and effort to our brand, content, and community strategies

Desired Qualifications & Experience *1-2 years moderating a vibrant Discord consumer-based community *Strong background in Discord security best practices, able to prioritize security *Understanding of and passion for decentralized technology, NFTs *Background in art and/or music is not required, but a bonus *Strong work ethic, hustle, communication, writing ability, and attention to detail *Comfortable with advanced Discord management features including bots, token gating, live event management *Comfortable hosting live events on Discord and Twitter Spaces, and helping artists with their AV setup as needed *Thrive in a high pressure situation *Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment *Patience for explaining Discord and web3 to recently onboarded community members *Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and levelheaded way *Candidate should be fully doxxed and willing to provide recommendations from past employers
