About the Opportunity
The institutional custody team offers a comprehensive custodian solution designed to meet the lifecycle requirements of institutional clients. This includes account setup, custody and off-exchange settlement, as well as introducing traditional finance clients to crypto space. Our team is instrumental in setting the standard for the crypto custodian industry. As a Senior Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead meaningful projects with leading financial institutions, trading firms, and banks.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Plan and design the whole lifecycle solutions for custodian and off-exchange settlement model, including asset management, settlement calculation, reconciliation, etc.
- Optimize the custodian risk management system, identify the different risk types in the custodian lifecycle and construct the comprehensive response SOP for risk events.
- Construct the credit level evaluation system for collaboration custodians to manage the counterparty risk and credit risk.
- Optimize the custodian account reconciliation method and provide complete and accurate reconciliation data.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with developers, designers, compliance and legal team, risk team and other departments.
- Coach/mentor other junior product managers on custodian standard solutions and risk management.
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor's degree with solid product manager experience, preferably from a well-known blockchain or financial company.
- Possess infrastructure backend logic knowledge as it is crucial to facilitate the collaboration with cross teams such as the asset, web3 and trading development team.
- You have a strong interest in trading, blockchain and the financial industry.
- You are self-motivated with a great product ownership mindset.
- With strong logical thinking, you constantly communicate & influence work in a team/cross functional setting.
- You have a proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards delivering a customer centric product.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English & Mandarin (as an added bonus to communicate with chinese speaking engineers).
Nice to Haves
- Experience in custodian service and Infrastructure & Risk for off-exchange settlement.
- Experience in designing or trading financial products such as stocks, funds, forex, futures, options is preferred;
- Having in-depth insight based on data analysis, with extensive experience using Excel, SQL, Python and other tools for data processing and analysis is preferred;
- Experience in leading teams
