This role will be focused on building and managing a strong set of partners with the key goals of increasing partner adoption of Substrate/Polkadot and developing high-value partnerships/initiatives. With a sense of urgency and determination you will break down complex problems to make decisions that best serve stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the ecosystem, BD, partnership team and partners to define and execute joint go to market programs to drive partner success through the development of chains, applications and professional services
- Manage and drive joint engagements between the partner and Parity teams
- Engage the partners’ field sales organization, channels, and end customers to create and drive opportunities
- Establish and run partner account planning meetings
- Engage closely with sales and technical pre-sales teams to develop a pipeline and in support of RFPs, projects/pilots
- Closely collaborate with platform, services and legal teams for end-to-end partnership engagement, from the initial agreement to launch
- Accountable and responsible for activating, onboarding and managing ISV’s, SI’s
- Nurture existing partnerships to deliver ongoing mutual value, evolve relationship
- Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in partnerships or business development in the software/technology industry with a history of exceeding performance metrics
- Understanding of blockchain ecosystems and commercial acumen
- Strong program management skills, including advanced problem solving and decision-making skills
- Experience engaging senior executives and familiarity with decision-making processes across enterprise customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work across internal and external organizations
Nice to haves:
- Work experience in Web3/blockchain projects with enterprises and regulators
- Structuring and leading large complex technology platform partnerships
- Structuring and leading large complex partnerships among public/private institutions
