Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Production Artist to join our creative team! As a Digital Production Artist, you will play a crucial role in extending designs into a variety of digital assets for our marketing, product, and engineering teams. Your keen eye for detail, proficiency in a variety of design software, and understanding of production processes will be essential in maintaining brand consistency and delivering high-quality visual materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the design team to interpret and execute creative concepts, ensuring they are adapted effectively for various digital mediums, including social media platforms.
  • Prepare and optimize artwork files for production, adhering to specific project requirements, technical guidelines, and brand standards.
  • Create and adjust layout compositions, typography, color schemes, and other design elements to enhance visual appeal and readability.
  • Review and proofread designs for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before finalizing artwork for printing or digital distribution.
  • Generate mock-ups and visual prototypes to assist in communicating design concepts and ideas to internal teams and clients.
  • Participate in project discussions, offering input and suggestions to enhance design aesthetics, user experience, and production efficiency.
  • Assist in maintaining an organized digital asset library, ensuring all files are labeled, categorized, and easily accessible to team members.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years as a Production Artist or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design production skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and Figma. After Effects is a plus. Illustration ability is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to design production, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various mediums.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or interactive design.
  • Knowledge of web design principles and responsive design concepts.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS for basic web-related design tasks.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in design execution.
