Flaunt is a new B2B SaaS technology company that is revolutionizing the role that loyalty programs play within organizations.
Given the disruptions in tracking and personalizing digital advertising, the rise of e-commerce, and a growing focus from brands on digital-native consumers, brands are looking to “loyalty” as a solution to problems across the marketing organization.
We are building a modern marketing platform that meets this moment for the loyalty industry. Flaunt can power rewarded campaigns that demonstrate a fast time-to-value, support full loyalty programs that drive 17% more incremental sales than legacy solutions using personalization, gamification, and social integrations, and can help marketers get more done with less using AI.
As a four-person startup, we are already serving household name brands like e.l.f. Beauty, Walmart, PepsiCo, and Lamborghini with our first-to-market Roblox rewards use case and have expanded beyond to power loyalty & engagement programs for brands like Sleep Number and Barefaced.
About this role:
We are hiring a Principal Designer who loves designing useful products and delightful user experiences for both business users and consumers.
Importantly, we are looking for someone who is excited at the opportunity to redefine a legacy category, mix and match concepts from product categories across the Martech stack, and explore using AI to enable loyalty programs & marketing managers to do more with less.
Design has been and will continue to be a critical differentiator for Flaunt. We are looking for a designer who can help Flaunt continue building the most innovative loyalty platform in the market and can be our team’s creative owner, occasionally supporting our sales and marketing needs and bringing to life creative solutions for clients.
In this role, you will report directly to our product-focused CEO and will own design and user experience across our entire business. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs and designing solutions that solve those problems in an intuitive way. You’ll collaborate with the product and engineering teams to bring this vision to life. You will be responsible for the look and feel of our brand across the entire customer experience — from product to marketing to sales. In addition, we’ll lean on you to lead the growth of our design practice.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and execute all UX design for the Flaunt platform.
- Take short, paragraph briefs that describe a customer problem all the way to click-through prototypes ready for hand-off to the engineering team.
- Lead 2-3 design reviews each week with representation from sales, customer success, product, and engineering where you will get feedback on your work.
- Be the expert in how our competition solves problems and always push to innovate on behalf of our customers.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive design system to help make our engineers’ lives easier and more efficient.
- Support branded product demos for sales conversations and build a process to make it as efficient as possible.
- Solve problems and build high-fidelity designs with both expert-level speed and tidiness.
- Demand that you sit in on customer calls, listen to recordings of customer calls and be included in customer service slack channels so you can absorb our clients’ problems and bake them into your product designs.
- Sell and defend your vision and do not shy away from debate, but operate with the expectation that feedback is both welcomed and critical to delivering the best solution.
- Develop user personas and consider the entire workflow of the users on our platform when designing our solutions.
- Take pride in delivering high-fidelity assets for product, marketing, and sales that help get your product into the hands of customers.
- Be repelled at the idea of receiving a large, comprehensive product specification that tells you exactly what you should build.
What You’ll Need:
- Work during Eastern time zone hours and be willing to come to Indianapolis on a quarterly basis for team retreats (bonus if you live in Indianapolis).
- Ability to quickly produce high-quality, thorough designs and demos.
- The ideal candidate has 7-10+ years of experience in UX and product design.
- A thoughtfully presented portfolio that demonstrates a refined aesthetic, the ability to think conceptually, and excellent visual and product design skills.
- Ability to take the lead and own one’s own tasks and projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in UX research methods.
- Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and grow.
- Proven experience creating high-fidelity designs and prototypes in Figma.
- Ability to create prototypes using Figma or other tools.
- Ability to design beautiful sales and pitch materials, marketing websites, and other marketing collateral.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and operate in a fast-paced work environment
Compensation: This position is expected to receive an annual salary of $175,000 - $200,000 based on experience.
