Job Purpose

Unicoin INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology team and drive the development of our IT infrastructure. As the CTO, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technological vision, strategy, and roadmap, with a focus on creating a robust IT structure tailored to the unique needs of a fintech, crypto company

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's technology strategy in alignment with its business goals, with a strong emphasis on building a scalable IT infrastructure for a fintech, crypto environment
• Lead the planning, implementation, and management of all technology initiatives, including software development, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Build and manage a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Unicoin INC's digital platforms, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and user-friendly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and compliance, to ensure technology solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on Unicoin INC's business objectives and recommending strategic investments accordingly
• Establish and maintain partnerships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners to support the company's growth and expansion
• Drive a culture of excellence in software engineering practices, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, leveraging agile methodologies and DevOps principles
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior leadership role overseeing technology strategy and IT infrastructure in a fintech, crypto, or related industry in similar positions
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and financial services, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying blockchain-based solutions
• Strong technical background in software development, systems architecture, and cloud computing, with expertise in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing technology teams, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for driving innovation and driving business growth through technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience working at a startup is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Thorough and detail-oriented – executes high-quality work and keeps the information up-to-date
• Flexible and adaptable – can manage change and work comfortably with ambiguity
• Team player – works well in a collaborative environment
• Being fluent in English and Spanish is desirable
