Newton team members are spread out across Canada within a fully-remote capacity.

Working closely with the Engineering Team, the IT Systems Manager will engage closely with Newton employees to provide support, planning, deployment, and trouble-shooting. 

Responsibilities for the role include:

• Experience with business systems, including ERP, CMS, GRC, MDM, and IDS platforms
• An understanding of federation and interop protocols, particularly for identity management
• Some experience with the major cloud providers, particularly AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with common protocols, including POP3, IMAP, and DNS
• Experience designing and maintaining LAN/WAN environments
• Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of discretion, patience, and diligence.
• Handling MDM items AWS and Azure network security, data security+backups
• AWS and Azure network security, data security+backups
• GSuite, Office365, and on devices, identity systems integration to roll out SSO to more services (i.e. bastion hosts, device logins). 


This is on top of the usual service desk items like on/offboarding, inventory management, procurement, etc. The successful candidate will be comfortable working towards a solution where they can implement access changes on systems that they themselves don't necessarily have access to.
