Blockchain DevOps Engineer

Our team is opening up multiple network engineer positions to further accelerate the development of DSLA Protocol, our Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) solution for developers and infrastructure operators.

Available on a growing number of blockchain networks, DSLA Protocol is a framework that enables anyone to design, roll out and execute peer-to-peer risk management strategies, based on historical application and network performance analytics.

In practice, DSLA Protocol connects stakeholders that want to underwrite risk, with stakeholders that want to hedge against risk, using zero-sum performance prediction markets.

As a DSLA Protocol core contributor, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the infrastructure supporting the protocol, our oracles and the other components of our technical stack.

We are looking for ambitious network engineers operating in a full DevOps capacity, with hands-on experience with EVM-compatible and non-EVM networks, Chainlink, The Graph, Application & Network Performance Monitoring (APM/NPM) GCP, Kubernetes, Hardhat, Ethers.js and Typescript.

🧢 Role

• Maintenance of servers and blockchain nodes, including critical production environments, in GCP and other hosting configurations (dedicated, vps and shared).

• Ensure the availability, performance and scalability of applications and blockchain nodes following proven design and architecture practices.

• Design and execute Scalability strategies that ensure the scalability and the elasticity of the infrastructure.

• Manage a portfolio of Softwares, their Development Life Cycle and optimize their Continuous Integration and Delivery workflows (CI/CD).

• Automate the Quality & Reliability Testing of applications (Unit Tests, Integration Tests, E2E Tests, Performance and Scalability Tests).

⭐️ Skills

• Hands on experience deploying and operating EVM-compatible and non-EVM blockchain nodes

• Hands on experience managing a Chainlink-powered Oracle middleware infrastructure

• Hands on experience in administering high availability and high performance environments, as well as managing large-scale deployments of traffic-heavy applications.

• Extensive knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts, technologies and providers (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure…).

• A strong ability to design and execute cutting edge System Testing strategies (smoke tests, performance/load tests, regression tests, capacity tests).

• Excellent understanding of Scalability processes and techniques.

• Good grasp of Scalability, Elasticity concepts and creative Auto Scaling strategies (Auto Scaling Groups management, API-based scheduling).

• Hands on experience with Docker and Docker orchestration tools like Kubernetes and their corresponding provider management services (Amazon ECS, Google Container Engine, Azure Container Service...).

• Proven ability to work remotely with teams of various sizes in same/different timezones, from anywhere and still remain highly motivated, productive, and organized.

• Excellent English communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation. Great email and Instant Messaging (Slack / Discord) proficiency.

DSLA Protocol is a product of Stacktical founded, a fully distributed company with a 100% remote workforce. Our admnistrative headquarters are in Paris.

🤝 Entering an agreement with the Stacktical company

To become a DSLA Protocol core developer, you need to enter an agreement with the Stacktical company, using your own billing structure.

This means you need to own a company, or use an equivalent legal status in your country, in order to join the core team.
