Blockchain Engineer

You love to build and try out new ideas quickly. Connecting smart contracts for fun and profit is your idea of a good time. You have built, shipped, and iterated on DApps across the crypto space.

We are a small, smart, and fun team backed by top VC firms. Our two founders, Karl Jacob and Allan Carroll, are serial entrepreneurs whose companies have helped millions of consumers from protecting them from spam to communicating with family members. Karl has raised 23 rounds of financing, created 6 companies from scratch and built products and companies that impact 10s of millions of people. Now we are building crypto products to break apart the old mortgage system and help consumers with the largest financial transaction of their lives.

Your job will be to work with our product and engineering team to create crypto products that are lightning-fast, usable, delightful and secure. Success will be measured by how efficiently you can engineer reliable, performant, and maintainable DApps and smart contracts that can grow with our company.

You're good at:

• Building DApps running on any of the high adoption blockchains
• Quickly prototyping and testing crazy ideas
• Understanding how the crypto ecosystem is interconnected

Extra Credit:

• You have built smart contracts that have processed millions of $.
• You have a passion for something outside the office
• You have consistently contributed to open source projects

LoanSnap focuses on Fin Tech. Their company has offices in San Francisco and Costa Mesa. They have a mid-size team that's between 51-200 employees. To date, LoanSnap has raised $52M of funding; their latest round was closed on May 2021.
