RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist on dYdX Trading’s current Business Development workflows, including:
• Support the growth of liquidity on dYdX via incentive optimization, market dynamics, new partnerships and institutional outreach
• Manage current relationships with institutional partners including: market makers, buy-side funds, prime brokers and a diverse group of product partners
• Supervise and report on institutional activity and exchange health in a data-driven manner
• Communicate with the largest players in crypto regarding product improvements/ additions to create the best trading experience on our exchange
• Drive high priority projects with new ecosystem partners as we develop the next version of our protocol: dYdX Chain
• Develop analytics using tools such as Google Analytics, Amplitude, and Metabase to define and measure operating metrics
• Work cross functionally with Growth and Research teams to assist on designing, implementing, and tracking all initiatives relating to growth and performance of the platform. This includes institutional partnerships, sponsorships, events, promotions, new product implementations and more.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-4 years experience working in a Finance or BD related environment (startup operations/BD - buy/sell side trading or investment banking are examples of good backgrounds)
• Basic knowledge of financial planning, accounting, and high-throughput company operations
• A “get it done” attitude – bias toward action, great collaboration and master disambiguation – constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
• Fast learner with a desire to continuously learn and adapt work output on newly learned subjects
• Execution and detail oriented with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get things done
• Communicate effectively and in a structured manner across all mediums
• Project management, time management, and ability to multitask
• Desire and passion to go deep in crypto and DeFi (if no prior experience)

NICE TO HAVES:
