Web3 Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at Protocol Labs you will be tasked with

• Strategic, long-term financial planning.
• Develop budgets and forecasts by coordinating with business partners
• Serve as finance partner to business unit budget owners and keep managers aware of their financial performance and ROI.
• Export of business unit financial performance and ROI by evaluating financial trends, data analysis reports, and forecasts of P&L and Balance Sheet
• Proactively provide resources, information, advice, and expertise to coworkers and internal / external stakeholders
• Develop sophisticated models for deal evaluation & portfolio analysis
• Partner with leadership and analytics team to implement dashboards, reporting, systems, and tooling to enhance Protocol Labs operations and ROI.
• Support forecasting near-term cash requirements with treasury and perform cash analytics and reporting including dashboards that provide proper visibility on cash allocations to the CFO and the Treasury Leadership team.
• Closely collaborate with accounting and operations team for financial close activities as well as procurement and spend processes

• Tools and systems experience while comfortable learning new tools - Gsuite, Excel, Sisense, SQL, Anaplan, Netsuite, Ironclad, Coupa, PGadmin, Tableau, Airtable, Namely, Front
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience in technology startup companies, blockchain,, investment banking, venture capital, or PE
• Engineering degree from top tier school
• MBA a plus
