Web3 Full Stack Engineer

Symbridge is looking for a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about learning new technologies and enjoys the building enterprise level testing processes and regression frameworks. Are you an experienced Full Stack Engineer who loves to collaborate across the enterprise with strong cross-functional planning and prioritization skills? Do you have a passion for evolving technologies such as Blockchain? Are you a leader who can manage major technical initiatives?

As a Full Stack Engineer you will be a core member of the IT team and will report to the Head of Development. You should possess a wide variety of technical skillsets and should be nimble enough to transition between frontend and backend development. Our development team is working on a number of interesting components that comprise our state-of-the-art digital exchange - namely technology focused on blockchain, highly available FIX engine platform and trading user interfaces.

The ideal candidate has experience with modern development technologies in both the frontend and backend. Most importantly the candidate will be collaborating extensively with Business, Operations and Product teams to support our ever growing functional use cases! What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain the core components of the digital exchange - from architecture to process optimization to trading UI
• Develop trading APIs for client trading and money movement utilization
• Micro services development
• Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT and GitLab
• Work closely with other core members on the team
• Work with open-source technologies as needed

What you’ll need to have:

• At least 5 years of full stack engineering - ideally within the blockchain space
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Excellent knowledge of Angular and RxJs
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
  
• Experience with securities trading and the FIX protocol
• Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and GCP
  
• The ability to take ownership and see initiatives through from start to finish
  
• Detail oriented and exceptional communication skills
• Must be fluent in both English and Russian

What would be nice to have:

• Familiarity with gRPC, Nest.js and Web-sockets
• FinTech industry exposure and/or FIX protocol
• Cryptocurrency knowledge

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
