The Tie is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer (Crypto)
Compensation: $110k - $150k

The Position
As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will help build data-intensive products (with a focus on The Tie Terminal), internal APIs, and data pipelines. You have a strong interest in crypto and data. In addition, you are excited to work in a startup environment where there are always new projects and challenges with freedom and ownership.
While day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around backend development, frontend development, and collaborating with design, you will have the opportunity to learn different functional areas of the business and expand your skill set.
What You Will Work On
- Vue/Nuxt/Tailwind development to support the Terminal and our partner applications
- Python/Typescript/Ruby development to enhance and maintain our APIs
- Write technical documentation to describe your APIs and product functionality
- Collaborate with developers to add new features, maintain our applications, and learn new concepts and technologies
- Work closely with the product team to find ways to empower customers with our datasets
- Take initiative and responsibility for technical solutions that could be integrated into current software architecture
- BA/BS degree in computer science or relevant experience
- Significant experience in web development with frameworks such as React, Vue, etc.
- Experience with SQL and working with relational databases
- Familiarity with working with AWS services such as AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, ECR, and S3, or similar products on other cloud providers
- Experience designing, building, and working with APIs
- Ability to work on and develop scalable Python/Typescript codebases
- Experience collaborating with different teams, such as product, design, and backend development teams
- You have a strong interest in crypto and data. Prior professional experience in crypto is a plus
- You have an interest in AI and LLMs and how they can empower the next generation of software systems

Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 (commensurate with experience)
Location: New York City / Austin / remote considered
