Web3 Full Stack Tech Lead - backend

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the backend services/APIs and integrations with smart contracts (alongside smart contract engineers).
• Own the overall web application’s security, stability, and scalability from the technical perspective.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team on product, design, and strategic decisions, taking initiatives to incorporate cross-functional insights.
• Establish and iterate on best practices for designing and maintaining secure, stable, and scalable applications, developing processes where needed.
• US West Coast Preferred, Hybrid/Remote considered

Who you are

• 5+ years of full-stack experience building web applications with a focus on secure and scalable backend design and development
• Proficient with backend RESTful API design and fully automated deployment
• Experience working with open source development using GitHub
• Experience working with blockchain, payment, marketplace, or other web3 projects
• Experience leading engineering teams, organizing deliverables, and setting priorities on complex technical projects
• Proven interest in and knowledge of blockchain/web3 technologies and communities, either professionally or personally
• Eager to learn, ambitious, communicative, and initiative-seeking.
