Web3 Latin America Senior Compliance Regulatory Specialist

We are looking for an outstanding compliance professional to join our fast-growing team as a Compliance Specialist for Latin America. In this role, you will work closely across the compliance team and other functions in the company to provide support on compliance and regulatory matters focusing on financial crimes compliance. We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable and collaborative person who can handle ambiguity and enjoys building. Regulatory Compliance roll supports the Compliance program for Latin American Blockchain operations, which focuses on regulatory compliance (e.g., regulatory alerts, administrative procedures before different public bodies, compliance with Argentine and LatAm regulations) and also includes other requirements of compliance (e.g., regulatory filings, management of licensing requirements and requests from regulators, governance).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the task of the role
  • Identify, design a workflow and ensure compliance with the monthly, quarterly and annual reports that the different regulations require applicable to the daily operations of the company
  • Design a control dashboard for the different compliance and performance indicators, where the response times and the compliance or non-compliance of the recurring controls are established
  • Provide constant advice during the processes of obtaining new licenses, registrations and regulations on the business model and/or services
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate all new regulations issued by the regulatory bodies in order to identify the sectors reached and, mainly, the actions necessary for their due compliance
  • Manage, lead and comply with the information requirements, inspections and regulatory reports to central banks, securities commissions, among other bodies
  • Build relationships with supervisory and monitoring authorities
  • Process Audit experience

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in AML and Fintech regulation
  • Verifiable knowledge of the laws, regulations of the BCRA, UIF, AFIP, CNV and LatAm
  • Resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational and time management skills
