BLK LUV org is seeking a Blockchain Game Dev NFT Web 3 intern that is interested in building virtual reality-based immersive metaverse based on the Unity framework.
Initially, a 20-40-hour commitment per week, this role provides a ground-floor opportunity to be part of a blockchain nonprofit that is looking to reVULutionize social-emotional gaming while developing tribe based life skills to make them happier and healthier.

Desired qualifications:
Working knowledge of Java, Objective-C, or C/C#/C++, Android/iOS frameworks, and GIT. Solid software development skills with an emphasis on mobile game development, including game physics. Experience with Unity 3D, Unity Plugins (BestHTTP, Final IK, Blockchain SDK, NFT SDK, Visual Scripting Libraries, etc.) including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI >

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university working towards or recently graduated from a BS program.

Responsibilities Implement game functionality as per communicated design.

Translate design specification into a functional game.

Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Contribute to the design and audio features of the game. Participate in the brainstorming sessions with the team. Proactively prototype new ideas and solutions.

About BLK LUV org (BLK equals LUV). The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 exposed a broken "Profit over purpose" economy that allowed over 50% of small businesses to close that needed capital. Web 2 nonprofit grants didnt provide an adquate solution for those in need of instant pandemic relief. As a web 3 blockchain nonprofit we built a new donation blueprint called LUV NFT that powers our "Purpose over profit" LUV Metaverse. We created the first nonprofit metaverse to with a "Play to donate" economy that works for everyone in our tribe. Our blockchain NFT games allow players to make a living doing what they LUV as a pandemic relief solution for the world. This is our solution to AI robots and Web 3 eliminating over 60% of the current workforce jobs in the new future.

We're seeking BLK LUV org interns who are aligned with our purpose of using Web 3 tech to solve Web 2 problems. Our co-founder Hahz Terry is an NFT thought leader who lectures around the world about virtual real estate and outside of the box NFT use cases. His wife Dr.Candy is the only person in blockchain with a PhD in Metaphysics that educates brands about the metaverse. Together they will invest in unpaid interns with Web 3 knowledge, clear direction and leadership for a robust and rewarding web 3 experience. Our interns work on real nonprofit projects that create value for the organization and the real world.
