THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

Product Direction. Business Expert. Customer Evangelist.

We're looking for a product manager to broaden our capabilities to thoughtfully approach and execute our strategy for the cryptocurrency market. You'll play a pivotal role to help us achieve our ambitious roadmap by validating ideas, creating products specifications, and partnering with our engineering team to deliver something beautiful. Your role connects the organizations resources and focuses it enough to create, and bridging the gap between our users’ desires, our engineers’ constraints, and our many ideas.

What you'll be doing.

• You'll work with the product team, our co-founder and other members of the executive team to help define the product strategy.
• You’ll represent the product across the organization; be a steward of the business and a champion of the customer.
• You’ll proactively meet and interact with customers and listen in on calls with prospects to uncover problems, identify unmet needs, and validate potential solutions.
• Persuasively present product direction to earn team buy-in with stories, customer profiles, and quantitative insights
• You’ll lead the planning, development, and launch of products and product features, in particular:
  • Core features for the product life cycle for trading and settlement, and develop a thorough understanding of upstream and downstream systems
  • Support for new products, additional products and product features
  • New financial instrumentations and products for crypto (e.g. lending, staking, defi, etc.)
  • Education that makes crypto more accessible to a diverse customer base
  • Pricing and business model experiments
  • Tooling and automation for the financial operations team
  • Infrastructure investments to ensure our platform can perform and scale
  • Define and analyze metrics to guide product development
  • Own UX and UI across full suite of products

• Support a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and user researchers throughout the product lifecycle.
• Assist sales, marketing, customer support teams as the product expert
• Build dashboards, set up experiments, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of what you ship, and inform what we do next.
• Assist marketing in identifying products and features to announce and creating collaterals to accurately describe them

Talent comes from a variety of backgrounds. We aren’t rigid. However, the person we’re looking for may have a resume something like this:

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputed institution, Master’s Degree is a plus, Computer Science background is a plus
• 3+ years of product management, Product Certification not needed, but a plus
• You're an active user of cryptocurrency / blockchain based products and nothing excites you more than having a chance to bring those products into the world.
• Proven track record of launching successful products and features at engineering-centric fintech companies
• You’re well-versed and finely tuned in the careful negotiation process between engineering teams and business demands
• Experience partnering and influencing engineering teams throughout the development cycle
• You thrive in fast-paced environments, embrace ambiguity and adapt quickly to changes
• You are scrappy and resourceful with minimal to no guidance
• You can think on your feet, but with enough humility to ask questions
• You use a data driven approach to drive product decisions and to continuously improve your iterative process.
• You live by the mission of a more scalable, programmatic, and decentralized vision of the future of finance.
• You’re entrepreneurial: you’ve seriously considered starting or have previously founded a business before (childhood lemonade stand, undergrad side hustle, full-fledged startup, etc.)
