About the role:


The Regulatory Compliance Manager will report to the Head of Compliance & MLRO and be responsible for supporting Crypto.com’s operational and regulatory compliance obligations, including regulation gap analysis, regulatory reporting.

You will support the Compliance function of the Group to ensure robust policies, and controls are in place across all regulated businesses of Crypto.com, and that they remain in compliance with internal procedures and policies.


As a Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will join and play an integral role within our regulatory compliance team in Turkey. You will be mainly supporting the Head of Compliance Turkey to ensure our ongoing and future regulatory obligations and reporting under various license/registrations are fulfilled in a timely manner. You will also be working with internal and external stakeholders to help launch the Company’s new products and services in a compliant manner and to accelerate the world's transition to cryptocurrency.


Responsibilities:

● Manage our compliance programs for regulatory licenses / registrations (e.g. SPK, TCMB and MASAK), including: ○ Implement our compliance program to ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled timely; ○ Implement, monitor and collate regulatory compliance reporting required for each authorisation and registration process

● Review compliance documents on a regular basis to ensure they are current and adequately reflect our businesses and regulatory framework;

● Support the Head of Compliance to ensure compliance risk audits and assessments are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner;

● Monitor and review all developments within the regulatory environment of the businesses;

● Advise management on needed actions.

● Lead relevant examinations, audits and inspections from external parties, including regulators, and ensuring remediation requirements are actioned in a timely manner and appropriately;

● Assist with new license or other regulatory application;

● Lead and manage compliance risk assessments with the Product, Engineering, Security and Data teams to ensure the Company’s new products and services are developed and deployed in a compliance manner;

● Participate in Product roadmap reviews and identify new products and product offerings that may be subject to regulatory compliance;

● Prepare new product risk assessments to identify regulatory compliance risks and document recommended mitigation strategies.

● 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in risk and compliance in EU/EEA.

● Experience in fin-tech or similar financial service firms will be highly regarded.

● Knowledge of the applicable contemporary practices in the field of Compliance, including but not limited to understanding of regulatory matters regarding financial license and regulatory requirements.

● Ability to create, maintain and report on Compliance Risk Assessments

● A reasonable understanding of our business, technical, financial and organizational structure.

● Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements of financial institutions EU

● Ability to support compliance deliverables with partners in the banking and financial services industry ● Ability to disseminate new regulatory information into actionable items and provide clear analysis to management

● Strong research and analytical skills on financial services regulation in EU and globally

● Strong writing, presentation and verbal communication skills to liaise with people at all levels both inside and outside the Company.

● The ability to multi-task priorities, manage deadlines and pick up new ideas and concepts quickly.

● An inquiring mind and methodical approach with high attention to detail.

● The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Advanced computer literacy.
