Web3 Sales Engineer

Compensation: $72k - $75k estimated

Job Brief

Prime Trust is seeking a Sales Engineer to collaborate with the Sales team to discover & understand complex customer business problems and requirements in order to translate and create a solution leveraging the Prime Trust platform. This role seeks to illustrate the value and benefits of the Prime Trust offering via an engaging story.

The Sales Engineer will also be expected to build out product demos to showcase the solution the integrator customer may end up purchasing and deploying.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to the Director, Solution Engineering – and is designated Remote.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with new integrators and using curiosity, understand their current and projected needs. Validate their business requirements and planned ‘flow of funds’ for viability
  • Strong ability to synthesize complex information and make clear, concise, and actionable recommendations. Good executive presentation skills and overall communication.
  • Understanding complex customer business problems, visualizing customer internal systems and information topology, and mapping customer goals and objectives to Prime Trust solutions
  • Ability to establish confidence in recommendations via product expertise, custom product demonstrations, technical phone calls, workflow outlines, RFP/RFI responses, product roadmap discussions & business process diagrams
  • Make pre-Sales integrator recommendations that drive trusted, long-term, high ROI solutions. Partner with sales to deliver on revenue plan
  • Exhibit proficiency of the core platform, including all current and future features
  • Work on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities
  • Values and demonstrates professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
  • High degree of initiative and ability to meet expectations with limited direction and oversight


Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of prior experience within a mid-market or enterprise-level, pre-sales role selling SaaS solutions and concepts
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in/exposure to either web programming (frontend or backend) or enterprise application development
  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in Cloud/SaaS
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant work experience
  • Willingness to travel 45% or more as needed
  • Proficient in developing and delivering software demonstrations in person and virtually
  • Experience with technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, SOWs, RFPs and RFIs, etc.
  • Industry knowledge is preferred or the ability to quickly develop a deep knowledge base in the crypto, banking and trading systems space
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • A track record of influencing internal and external stakeholders through competing priorities, dependencies and tradeoffs


Education -Bachelor's degree from a 4-year, accredited institution (Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems preferred) or equivalent work experience

Working Conditions -This job is available for either remote or in office work. Culture is energetic, interactive, and growth oriented, far more of a FinTech environment than a traditional financial institution


Job Type -Full-time position
