Web3 Senior Graphic Designer

The Global Marketing team serves as a center for brand strategy, engagement, stewardship and amplification for the EOS Network Foundation, the EOS Network, and a portfolio of global programs. As the Senior Graphic Designer you will be a part of our growing team and you will play a key role in driving brand and market growth. This role is instrumental for developing, creating and protecting the integrity of the brand across all channels. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, ebooks, social, exhibitions and more. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Web3 industry and help to define a brand to lead the future of DeFi, GameFi, and social good.

  • Manage process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, infographics, emails, templates, layouts and photos.
  • Draw on diverse perspectives to solve design problems and translate ideas into compelling visuals & motion graphics.
  • Maintain and build on brand standards and consistency of message and design across presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional designers, leaders, and operations team members to ensure coherence of messaging and visual design.

  • Define, design, and build experiences for marketing collateral, including flyers, banners, corporate marketing presentations and various other team presentations.
  • Engaging on social, community, and website development projects and provide recommendations on multimedia/communications design, content, and features based on the target consumer audience(s).
  • Collaborate on approved concept and work with cross-functional team/agencies in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
  • Manage graphic data management, including maintaining data and system integrity, cataloging image files, and sustaining network-stored digital production files for maintaining existing archives for retrieval.
  • Provide graphics service production administrative support, including monitoring the schedule and assigning, managing, and tracking the status of work order requests.
  • Advise the teams on design matters to be incorporated in final products.
  • Utilize state of the art computer graphics hardware and software including high level illustration software, 3D modeling and animation software, and photo manipulation software to create pictorial drawings and renderings of a technical nature.
  • Minimum BS/BA degree.
  • 7+ years graphic design experience.
  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphic design competencies.
  • Ability to work as part of a project team as well as independently, global team settings a plus.
  • This is blockchain and the new world of Web3, having passion for technology, a plus.
  • Must be self-disciplined with effective time management abilities and organizational skills.
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to interface at all levels maintaining strong working relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Fully remote, with preferred location: East-coast US.
  • Experience with data visualization and animation project production, a plus.
  • An understanding of exhibit design best practices and production methods, a plus.

Technical Requirements:

  • Candidates will be asked to provide a portfolio prior to an interview. Extensive artistic experience and knowledge of computer graphics skills in a wide range of communications and illustration concepts, principles, and practices to conceive, plan, and execute projects that fulfill multiple intelligence and often abstract ideas; and the ability to help others understand and interpret the intent of the graphics deliverable and messaging.
  • In depth knowledge of and proficiency in the operation of computer graphics and knowledge of the production environments in which they are used.
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Visual Media or a related design discipline in the visual communication arts or verifiable equivalent experience that demonstrates the individual's knowledge, skills and abilities as required by the position description.
  • Portfolio often (10) or more samples that demonstrate graphic design expertise showcasing the designer's skills, knowledge, and competencies in design for multiple media, including but not limited to print and web.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional graphic design experience demonstrating extensive skills and knowledge of visual media design principles, theory, practices and trends in a variety of media used to develop innovative solutions and complex data visualization.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience using industry standard software tools, to include but not limited to, Adobe Creative Suite, critically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • In depth knowledge of major technologies in the communications industry to include video, computer animation, graphics, multimedia, presentation, and digital imaging.
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suites including InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat Pro DC, Premier, Dreamweaver, After Effects, Figma and others.
  • Experience with photography and videography a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital, print and production processes.
  • A strong interest and passion for art, design, games, music, film, and contemporary culture in general, a plus.
  • 3D skills are a plus, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of visual digital spaces, UI/UX, and how to leverage social media platforms.
