The team

The Asset Growth & Management Product Group is responsible for helping our clients maintain and build their wealth with cryptocurrency.  From staking and asset listings to custody solutions, we ensure that our clients have access to a diverse range of tools to help our users grow and manage their assets effectively.

The opportunity

• Develop and Execute Listing Strategy: Play a crucial role in shaping the strategy for token listings, a primary revenue driver impacting various facets of Kraken’s business.

• Stay at the Forefront of Crypto Innovations: Be hyper-aware of the latest trends, cutting-edge developments, and major happenings in the cryptocurrency sphere, leveraging this knowledge to keep our offerings competitive and relevant.

• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with teams in the organization to seamlessly integrate new token listings.

• Scale Listing Processes: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to refine and scale the token listing process, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Engage with External Teams: Build and maintain relationships with external project teams, evaluating their tokens, offering, and roadmap all in efforts to improve Kraken’s product offering.

• Drive Market Liquidity and Exchange Traction: Focus on ensuring market liquidity for new tokens and strategizing to maximize exchange traction and user engagement.

• Impactful Reporting and Analysis: Provide comprehensive reports on each token listing, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and key learnings to continuously refine our listing strategies.

• Shape the Future of Crypto Trading: By joining our team, you will not only contribute to our current success but also have a hand in shaping the future landscape of cryptocurrency trading and exchanges.

Skills you should HODL

• Comprehensive knowledge of the overall crypto ecosystem, trending narratives, latest airdrops, tokenomics, etc. 

• Demonstrated ability in developing and executing product strategy

• Understanding of trading, market structure, liquidity

• Minimum 5+ Years of Product Management Experience ideally within crypto

• Experience in data gathering, quantitative analysis, and the ability to translate these into actionable strategies.

• Proactive mindset, always looking for innovative solutions to complex problems.

• Strong interpersonal skills with experience in interacting and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational abilities with the skill to juggle multiple priorities effectively.

• Deep understanding of project management principles and best practices
