Web3 Senior QA Engineer (Backend Testing & Big Data)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (including Backend Testing), encompassing all stages from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, defect tracking, through to product release and maintenance
• Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager and all other partners) to design, develop, test and deliver high quality products
• Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured and effective test plans and test cases for applications including Frontend, Backend and Data applications, and also for Data platform and pipelines
• Prevent, report, analyze and track issues in an effective and efficient mannerImprove test strategy to reduce manual test efforts - Design, develop and execute Automation scripts
• Stay ahead with the latest technology trends, persistently enhancing the team's testing process, methodologies, and efficiency

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of QA engineering experience in Automation and familiar with Backend Testing + Coding
• Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in testing Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
• Good programming ability, master at least one of Java, Python, JS and other programming languages
• Strong SQL testing, understanding different SQL statements
• Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skillsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development process 
• Fluent in both spoken & written Mandarin & English
• Knowledge in the blockchain or web3 domain is a plus
• Big Data middlewares (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Flink) and testing experiences is a plus
