About the Codefi product group
Codefi is the blockchain application suite powering commerce and finance, built to optimize business processes and digitize financial instruments. Codefi is at the forefront of the blockchain fintech revolution and builds, deploys and runs critical applications across both Enterprise and crypto/DeFi and multiple blockchain verticals (digital assets, payments, workflows, data, staking). The product group is composed of multiple decentralised product teams across all verticals distributed across Europe and US and working mostly remotely.
What you’ll get to work on
As Technical Project Manager within ConsenSys Codefi you will be joining a world reference technical team with State of the Art expertise in developing & delivering advanced decentralized applications (Ðapps).
Your job will be to drive technical projects/workstreams across Codefi to successful completion, in particular around strategic improvements of our cloud infrastructure and Quality Assurance tooling and driving towards cybersecurity certification (ISO/SOC2) as well as bringing client or product-related high integrity commitments to a successful completion.
You will:
- Manage different projects by leading alignment on scope, planning, and business goals
- Create project structure and organisation and drive towards success
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and available
- Monitor scope creep, delivery towards milestones and completion
- Reflect project status to engineering lead as well as all other relevant stakeholders
- Develop tools, documentation and processes to improve productivity
- As needed, identify people and resources needed
Required Skills:
This position requires a combination of technological skills, soft skills and great and clear communication, project and backlog management and organisational skills, thinking strategically, problem solving & creativity, resilience, driving teams towards project completion, team spirit and strong documentation practices. Your focus will also be on helping the team to become high-performing and helping teams achieve their goals, listening, guiding them through hard times and celebrating successes. It involves collaborating with other stakeholders within Codefi and beyond.
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
- Understanding of business objectives and technical requirements
- Familiarity with agile and test-driven development
- Experience managing complex technology projects involving multiple teams/stakeholder
- Analytical skills, to plan and measure the success of your projects
- Strong organizational skills, to manage multiple projects in parallel and keep track of progress and status
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Notion and Trello
- Experience in the field of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points for:
- Technical background - software engineering and/or DevOps/infrastructure - , to fully understand technical projects, analyse their scope, and work with the technical teams
- Experience working in a ISO/SOC2 certified company/startup and/or experience of ISO/SOC2 certification projects and requirements
- Understanding Blockchain technology, especially Ethereum
