THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

What you’ll be doing.

• You’ll represent Floating Point Group (FPG) values and services to clients and prospects.
• You'll execute market trades and customer order flow on an agency basis and monitor our algorithmic trades.
• You’ll drive revenue growth and participate in sales and marketing meetings and events.
• You'll engage in trade and settlement reporting, account management support, market analysis, research, among other responsibilities.
• You'll maintain efficient and effective operating procedures for all of FPG's execution-based services.
• You'll champion smooth operations of our trading desk through servicing FPG's clients and collaboration with our team.
• You'll have dynamic days that involve working with data and people.
• You'll partner with the team to build out enhanced strategies among many other initiatives.
• You'll establish a deep understanding of FPG's services and execute a plan to even better serve the largest financial institutions around the world.
• You'll work with our developers, strategists, traders, and founders to bring your thoughts for the trading desk from ideation to implementation.

• 1+ year of work experience at financial organization. Prior trading experience preferred.
• You are experienced with back office operations
• A problem solver with strong analytical skills. A believer in knowing and understanding the numbers behind a problem
• You are very comfortable working with numbers, data and Excel. Coding experience is a plus.
• You are experienced with back office operations.
• You are organized and handle yourself well while working under pressure.
• You are an excellent communicator and able to convey complex ideas succinctly.
• You have excellent judgment and assess risk appropriately.
