Web3 UI Designer

Job description

Idolverse is an early-stage, venture-backed tech startup seeking a full-time designer to own UI design for an anime game on the blockchain. As our sole designer, you’ll be responsible for breathing life into all aesthetic elements of the project as well as driving the creative vision of the product as a whole.

Our team moves quickly, so we’re looking for someone with sharp design instincts who can iterate swiftly, incorporate feedback, and adjust with ease. This is a job for a designer who is energized by new projects that require quick prototyping in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilties Include:

• UI/UX for web and mobile
• design of marketing/promotional materials
• concept exploration of new projects, or of new directions within a project

Job requirements

• Familiarity with and interest in anime, waifu culture, web3/crypto
• Experience working with tools for UI prototyping (we use Figma)
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other tools necessary for digital asset creation
• You have a portfolio that demonstrates your skill and creativity as a UI designer
• Can iterate and prototype quickly. Often with projects, we start with a vague sense of what the aesthetic should be and need to refine. You should be comfortable with this kind of iterative creative process.
• You are someone excited by new projects, and eager to apply your skills to whatever is next
• Team player. You are happy to do something that needs to be done because it contributes to an outcome that is beneficial to the team. We all work together, toward a common goal.
• comfortable with a remote-first team. At the moment, we work remotely and meet for brunch once a week (it’s on us!)
