What you’ll do

Our UI/UX Developers are self-starters, creative thinkers and have a true conviction to push the edge of innovation in technology. Keeping a keen eye on all of the details that make for a great web experience while maintaining code organization and a performant user interface is crucial to the success of this role. Breathing life into UI designs, you recognize that the small details are what separates good UI from great UI. Successful candidates will have a strong knowledge of well structured HTML and CSS, modern Javascript, and are focussed on crafting elegant, well-tested front-end code. When developing designs, you will be working with React, nextjs, tailwinds.css, and Typescript.  We are passionate about blockchain and related technologies, while helpful experience and knowledge in the space is not required.

As an engineering organization writing clean and simple code is just the beginning. We prize ownership and responsibility; making and owning decisions made within the code. We own and support the code we write in production. Collaboration and teamwork are key to the success of our teams: participating in PRs, testing a teammate’s code, or helping out other team members when they get stuck. A focus on the polish and details around UI interactions is what makes our developers stand out. 

Would be great if you brought this to the role

• 5-7 years of experience as a front-end focused engineer or UX Engineer.

• Experience with server-side rendering techniques, React or equivalent SPA applications, component based development and solid modern styling techniques.

• Mastery of javascript from browser based applications to NodeJS servers in various forms (ES6, Typescript etc) will be helpful to fluidly navigate all of our projects. 

• As a UI/UX developer it is helpful to have experience wiring up designs to API calls.

• Our engineers own their work from design to deployment so it would be helpful to have some experience with build automation (as it applies to frontend projects) and end to end testing frameworks (such as Puppeteer or Cypress).

• We manage growing complexity through reusable packages managed in a Typescript monorepo. Experience with workspaces (npm, yarn, pnpm, lerna, etc) is helpful.
