Etana Custody is looking for a VP/Director of Operations!

Summary
In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our operations. You will be a strategic partner to the executive team and department heads, providing leadership and direction to ensure our operations are efficient, scalable, and compliant. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company's ambitious growth plans. This position reports directly to the CEO.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Enhance and execute the comprehensive operations strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all functions, including account management, onboarding, transaction processing, customer support, and risk management.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Help to implement and optimize processes and systems to ensure efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and compliance procedures to mitigate risk and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify areas for improvement and then drive operational excellence.
- Manage and optimize operational budgets and resources.
- Partner with other departments, such as Product, Compliance, Accounting, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure operational alignment and support business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in fintech operations to keep policies and procedures current.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in operations leadership, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling operations teams in a high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, AML).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in implementing and optimizing operational processes and systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of technology and its role in financial services.
- A passion for innovation and the fintech industry.
- Salary: $125-165k
