THE ROLE

Our Talent team at Localcoin is on a mission to attract and grow our team with the best talent while providing a high quality and inclusive experience for candidates. We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will lead the full cycle recruitment initiatives, build relationships with world class talent and collaborate with the People & Talent team on a variety of impactful projects. Reporting to the Director, People & Talent you will work closely with the People & Talent team and hiring managers to provide an unparalleled candidate experience, while leading strategic hiring discussions to build teams holistically.

This position will be based out of our office in Etobicoke, ON with a hybrid work schedule.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead and manage the full cycle recruitment initiatives across a variety of roles in Sales, Operations and Customer Support
  • Act as a brand ambassador of Localcoin by educating candidates on our culture, industry, career growth opportunities, and the many advantages of joining growing our team
  • Strive to constantly provide an unparalleled candidate experience by providing ongoing and timely communication throughout recruitment process
  • Creatively source candidates for positions, utilizing a variety of recruitment channels such as employee referrals, direct sourcing and organic applications
  • Review and evaluate candidate applications, conduct candidate interviews, present qualified candidates to hiring team and initiate team discussions to better refine our recruitment strategy
  • Lead strategic discussions with hiring managers to build teams holistically
  • Research and analyze current systems; make recommendations to improve workflow and develop new recruitment processes (i.e. New sourcing methods, evaluation tools, advertising strategies, interview processes, CRM)
  • Build recruitment material such as interview question banks, job descriptions and market research
  • Prepare and extend candidate offer letters, serving as primary point of contact for additional communications, scheduling and negotiations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates and build a talent pipeline for existing and future hiring needs
  • Actively support the onboarding process by ensuring an exceptional candidate to new hire experience
  • Participate in organizing and leading recruitment and networking events
  • Participate in People related projects and work to create seamless processes between Talent and People Operations

THIS IS YOU

  • Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Greenhouse or a similar ATS/ CRM
  • Track record of effectively managing high volume continuous pipelines
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail while still managing multiple priorities
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Self-motivated, data-driven and collaborative individual
  • Friendly, energetic and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
  • Interest and exposure in People Operations is a valuable asset
