Your Role: Android Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Android Engineer who will join our team of talented engineers to help build and scale our mobile application. Most importantly, we are looking for a team player that also takes a sense of ownership in their work.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, and deploy new features to production
• Work together with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Integrate third-party data sources and APIs
• Create and execute unit tests on your code, to ensure its robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs and improve application performance
• Explore and utilize new technologies to maximize development efficiency

What You’ll Need

• 4+ years of experience developing Kotlin / Java mobile native apps.
• Excellent debugging skills with ability to produce high quality code.
• Curiosity and interest in learning new technologies, patterns and diving deep into issues.
• Dynamic UI experience and an eye to precisely replicate screen designs.
• Meticulous, organized, analytical, innovative, and able to think strategically.
• Highly effective at working in cross-functional groups and with minimal supervision.

Nice to Haves

It’s okay if you don’t have these, we’re happy to teach

• Experience building Digital Wallet or Payment applications or an understanding of blockchain is a plus.
• Understanding of clean code, dependency injection (Dagger, Koin), and TDD
• Creating UI with Compose
• Using Kotlin Coroutines, and Flow
