About the Opportunity
We are the team behind Liquid Marketplace, and we are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer in Singapore to join our growing Engineering team across Singapore and Hong Kong.
Our services go beyond the basic exchange orderbook by offering on-demand liquidity for professional and institutional traders the ability to settle large blocks of Crypto products, and execute arbitrarily complex multi-leg strategies.
Our solutions are fully in-house and you will gain exposure to every aspect of creating them from the ground up: from influencing product requirements to the full software engineering lifecycle. Our diverse team is composed of veterans from both TradFi and other pioneering Crypto firms, and this is a unique opportunity to contribute to the leading-edge of the industry.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, prototyping and implementing new solutions for our automated RFQ and Spread-trading platforms.
- Collaborating closely with product managers, clients and cross-functional teams.
- Analysing and iterating upon the existing features, capacity and performance of our platforms.
- Providing support to our business users and clients, and monitoring the overall quality of service.
- Continually promoting greater software development standards, automated testing and firm-wide practises.
What We Look For In You
- Solid STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) education background.
- Strong analytical, pragmatic, and logical problem-solving skills.
- Experience in high performance Java, and async programming patterns.
- Experience in best-practises within Agile SDLC, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Willingness to learn about all aspects of institutional trading products for Crypto markets.
- Proficient in English.
Nice to Haves
- Experienced with distributed systems, web-scale and multi-services architecture.
- Experienced in software development within other Financial Services firms: TradFi or Crypto.
- Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin).
