Marketing at SuperRare Labs:
We are looking for an SEO Manager with strong instincts and a fearless drive to innovate SEO in the crypto/NFT space.
You'll start with building our long-term SEO strategy, performing site and content keyword analysis, producing a content roadmap, competitor analysis and identifying how we will differentiate and win on the important search terms. You'll also look for quick wins on our existing content across our blog, Youtube, email and social and advise on how we optimize our website architecture for SEO performance.
You will be the first person in this role, so there's a blank canvas to play with. You’ll provide thought-leadership, best practice approach, innovation and guidance at a campaign and departmental level and have full autonomy to fulfil your projects.
Specifically, in the first few months you'll be:
- Working with the Chief Product Officer and Director of Marketing to build out the long-term SEO strategy and utilize the existing content we have for quick wins
- Working with engineering to implement any quick wins in the core product
- Working with our editorial content team to maximize content SEO opportunities
In this role, you will be expected to develop SEO strategies and roll up your sleeves to implement these strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Create/execute robust SEO content strategy for SuperRare including a roadmap of experimental initiatives that can lead to scalable growth.
- Audit the website SEO performance, finding root-causes, and experimenting with solutions to improve performance at scale.
- Work closely with product, engineering and BI teams to make sure the company’s infrastructure, architecture, and site features support and enhance the effectiveness of our SEO.
- Lead efforts to solve complex SEO problems, moving quickly to implement ideas and deliver results. Dive into issues and incidents as they occur, perform ad hoc analyses as needed, and/or help escalate them to drive to resolution.
- Perform keyword research on a regular basis
- Develop keyword plans through conducting keyword research on a regular basis to generate content ideas and optimize existing content
- Optimize web pages such as the homepage, landing pages, blog posts, product pages (on-page SEO) in terms of improving content quality, keyword optimization, and user experience to boost organic search rankings
- Partner with editorial team and copywriter to create SEO optimized content
- Identify and close content gaps between company website and competitor content
- Partner with engineering/product to review the entire website architecture, restructuring page hierarchy where necessary
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits and work with the engineering team to fix technical website issues (e.g., slow page load speeds, page crawl errors, and duplicate content) that may negatively impact organic search rankings
- Conduct full-scale SEO audit (technical, on-page, and off-page) on both mobile and desktop website versions to provide recommendations for improvement in key areas such as keyword optimization on meta tags and images, content quality, and link building
- Execute link building campaigns through the creation and promotion of linkable assets, outreach, and submission-based link building
- Integrate on-page and off-page SEO (link building) with content marketing, social media marketing, and digital PR initiatives
- Regularly track and monitor new and existing keyword ranking positions and devise integrated marketing strategies to increase organic search rankings
- Measure key SEO metrics such as organic traffic, ranking positions, domain authority, conversion and conversion rates, engagement metrics such as dwell time and organic return visits and provide recommendations for improvement
- Perform competitive analysis to benchmark current SEO performance against competitors and devise strategies to surpass competitors
- Keep up to date with the latest SEO trends, search algorithm updates, and new SEO tools and best practices
- Communicate SEO performance and initiative status to stakeholders in weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews.
What you have:
- 5+ years of work experience in search engine optimization
- Proven track record in managing SEO projects from inception to completion
- Deep understanding of SEO content strategies and tactics.
- Demonstrable experience in your SEO strategies resulting in improved traffic and rankings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in e-commerce, digital products or gaming industries.
- Professional experience working with data and/or reporting
- Working knowledge of SQL, and advanced excel skills
- Proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous situations and earning the trust of senior stakeholders, and ability to self-manage and prioritize work to deliver on key goals
- Excellent knowledge of industry software & tools, including Searchmetrics, Brandwatch, Radian 6, Gorkana, BuzzSumo, Facebook Analytics and Twitter Analytics, GWT & Google Analytics Packages
