We are looking for a Head of Performance Marketing with strong instincts and a fearless drive to innovate digital marketing best practices in the crypto/NFT space.
The Head of Performance Marketing is a pivotal demand generating role, adept at strategy, execution and analytics for Display Advertising, Paid Media, SEM and Affiliate Marketing. They are driven to keep the SuperRare brand ahead of the competition by applying innovative approaches, designing campaign budgets, aggregating diverse sets of data and making data-driven decisions that continuously improve CAC and ROAS.

What you’ll do:
- Understand the online consumer behavior, user journey and purchasing patterns and develop effective marketing strategies for omni-channel marketing campaigns (mobile, paid search, SEO, social, email, SMS, etc.) to add value, increase engagement and improve the experience with SuperRare end consumers.
- Operate as a collaborative partner with cross-functional internal teams, company leaders and vendors to implement, manage and measure new digital marketing strategies.
- Own all aspects of Performance Marketing: create and drive performance marketing strategy to increase consumer acquisition in alignment with SuperRare’s organizational goals for revenue, subscribers, and brand recognition.
- Create and execute against the performance marketing roadmap utilizing best practices for campaign planning, implementation, optimization, testing and analytics.
- Drive the marketing funnel for the brand. As a member of our fast-paced team, you’ll drive sales through new customer acquisitions and retention campaigns – identifying growth opportunities throughout the consumer lifecycle.
- Investigate innovative techniques to identify new platforms and growth opportunities based on industry trends and competitive intelligence. Formulate and test data-driven hypotheses that refine marketing strategies and quickly measure campaign effectiveness.
- Identify and test new customer acquisition opportunities and platforms.
- Perform competitor analysis and stay up to date on the latest performance marketing, growth hacking, and SEM strategies.
- Optimize budgets to drive higher conversion volume and drive down acquisition costs using techniques such as bid adjustments, ad copy, keyword expansion, and dayparting.
- Monitor and manage campaign health against KPIs, utilizing data from multiple sources to generate insights and actionable plans. Maintain a reporting dashboard that effectively communicates results to key stakeholders.
- Determine and manage new affiliate marketing partnerships. Evaluate and test partners to produce incremental conversions and revenue for the business.
- Develop and document processes for campaign execution that facilitate a scalable solution as budgets and platforms grow with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Manage and drive revenue/KPI growth across all digital teams including growth/paid performance marketing, web, social, influencer, organic/content, retention (SMS/push/loyalty), affiliate, native, and others
- Launch experiments and provide data-driven, analytically rigorous insights to test different channels and iterate on the digital marketing strategy
- Implement, manage, and improve KPIs across all digital channels
- Fluent with relevant marketing tools (Iterable, HubSpot, Sprout Social, etc.)
- Forecast and plan financial outcomes for monthly/annual budget goals and execute against said goals
- Experience with growth marketing for products with a complex GTM and a multi-step user journey
- Ability to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution
What you have:
- 7+ years of experience in Paid Media, Display, SEM and Affiliate Marketing.
- Deep knowledge of Facebook Ads, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Microsoft Advertising, DoubleClick Search, Display Networks and other relevant paid search and social platforms. Certifications are a plus.
- Expert with ad serving, tracking and attribution technologies as well as marketing analytics to derive actionable insights from complex data sources.
- Experience working with substantial monthly ad spend budgets.
- Extensive knowledge of online marketing and acquisition processes and e-commerce principles.
- Significant experience with analyzing data, Budgets, modeling and cost analysis
- Success achieving breakthrough performance across a variety of marketing channels, with expert-level knowledge of customer acquisition KPIs and best practices
- Deep expertise in social media and google platform algorithms, bidding strategies, and objectives
- Agile and able to manage competing priorities
- Full command of paid acquisition KPIs, with particular skill optimizing for ROAS & CPA
- Thrives in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment
SuperRare powers / bonus points if you can demonstrate:
- In-depth personal experience running digital ads on Facebook and/or Google
- Mastered the use of multiple landing pages, upsells, conversion tactics, etc for high-converting products.
- Comfortable with ambiguity or thinking from first principles
- Enjoy working with data or using evidence to drive your decision-making process
