Role Overview:

The Operations manager will ensure operational excellence, financial robustness, and strategic direction. This role is designed for a mid-senior manager who thrives in a collaborative environment and is capable of working with different time zones and across different functions, commercial, finance, regulatory and compliance.. The candidate will bring a well rounded experience of operations, strategic thinking, financial and regulatory insights to build connections and drive operations in Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research on the role’s geographical responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring they align with company goals. Implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Streamline administrative processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Manage the end-to-end process of contract negotiation, drafting, and execution.
• Ensure a culture of collaboration and innovation. Lead by example in promoting an inclusive environment where diverse ideas and perspectives are valued.
• Review and analyse contractual agreements to mitigate risks and ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Act as Telcoin main point of contact to all operations in Africa and a liaison with different stakeholders, including regulators, central banks, partners and customers.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field;
  MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in operations, finance, or strategic roles.
• Excellent problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaborative teamwork.
• Experience in start-ups and Fintechs is highly advantageous.
