Our efforts focus on two distinct areas: data and finance. As the team continues to expand, we are looking for a Scrum Master, who will work closely with both the Product and Software Development teams.

The Scrum Master builds and keeps the momentum on development Sprints across the different product streams, including Pools, Governance, Website, API amongst other products, as required.

The Scrum Master will understand BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) well enough to be an advocate within the Product team and help formalise requirements & frameworks.

Your Mission

• Guides and coaches the teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high-quality products
• Gets team to a high performing level by recognising areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
• Understands Behaviour Driven Development and advocates for it across all stakeholder groups, pulling relevant people to events as fit

Requirements

• Experience from a start-up or a high-growth environment
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
• Availability to have a minimum of 4 of your daily work hours fall between 8am - 7pm AEST
