RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review current and new games (and other projects) for compliance with internal legal policies
- Evaluate incoming developer applications and guide them through onboarding
- Support the legal team with gaming-related inquiries and casework
- Assist with resolving legal issues tied to developer and publisher partnerships
- Conduct ad hoc research on games, trends, and compliance risks
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong knowledge of the gaming industry: publishers, developers, major and niche titles, genres, franchises, etc.
- Understanding of concepts like:
- Game mods, servers, hosting
- Monetization (IAPs, loot boxes, DLCs, pre-orders, gacha)
- Basic game development workflows
- Familiarity with popular culture: recognize characters, logos, environments from movies, shows, and games
- Awareness of digital trends: NFTs, AI-generated content, crypto, etc.
- English proficiency: B2 level or higher
- Detail-oriented mindset with an interest in legal compliance
