Azra Games is building the first modern, web3 AAA game studio in the world. Founded by Mark Otero, the GM of Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, we are building at the intersection of fun and finance.

Requirements

What you’ll be doing:

• Working directly on a daily basis with founders and leadership to define and execute our engineering strategy.
• Write, test and audit smart contracts tied to our in game assets (NFTs) and economy (tokens).
• Make decisions about balancing on-chain and off-chain tradeoffs to create the best player experiences in web3.
• Build infrastructure that allows us to securely manage treasury assets.
• Building engaging and novel web3 experiences that can be used as acquisition funnels for future game players.
  
  

What you bring to the table:

• You have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• You've built at least one product that's achieved some scale and had to manage the complexities of scaling a business, team and codebase.
• You have 2+ years of experience building delightful web or mobile user experiences in a modern framework such as React, React Native, Vue, Angular, etc.
• You have built production tested backend services that scaled to millions of users before in a modern web framework or language.
  
  

It's even better if you've:

• Deployed a smart contract to a main net blockchain that's been audited by a security firm.
• Have built an engaging dapp experience for web or mobile.
• Have built a web3 enabled gaming experience.
• Have experience with Solidity, Rust, or another modern smart contract framework.
• Understand and can explain the impact architectural decisions have on fees.
